Driving and Drinking
The truth is that many people, young and old alike, don't realize how much they have been drinking. For instance, such as when stopping by and having a couple of beers or meeting friends for happy hour. It happens that people don't always remember how many drinks they had with a meal or don't realize how it will affect their judgement. If you were to ask someone if they would drive after drinking, they would probably say, "No, of course not." But without thinking about it, they would get in the car and drive after a lunch date with two glasses of wine. That's how the alcohol can impair our judgement.
Locks Your Engine
The interlock device will lock your engine if the person getting in behind the wheel has been drinking. After a puff into the tube of the device, the results will come back. If the alcohol level is dangerously high, the engine will not turn over. So don't leave it up to the driver to decide when he or she has had too much! Depend on the interlock device. Get an interlock device in San Francisco and you'll be safe to drive.
About San Francisco
At one time, during the California Gold Rush in 1849, San Francisco grew so quickly that it was the West Coast's largest city. Most of it was destroyed during the fire and earthquake in 1906, but it was rebuilt quickly. In fact, only nine years later San Francisco hosted the Panama-Pacific International Expo. The city's port was important during WWII as a point of embarkation for service men being shipped out to the Pacific Theater. In 1945 San Francisco was the birthplace of the UN and after the war the city experienced massive immigration and returning servicemen. It also was a center of liberal attitudes, which helped with the hippie counterculture and subsequent peace movement.
